Hannah studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she received a prestigious Ian Fleming Award administered by the Musician's Benevolent Fund. Her teachers included John Harle, Christian Forshaw and Rob Buckland. 
At GSMD Hannah built on her growing reputation as a soloist with acclaimed solo performances at St. Anne & St. Agnes Church (London) and St. Teilos Church (Cardiff) as well as collaborating with the London Contemporary Dance School and the Royal College of Art. Hannah also gave her first performance of the Glazunov Saxophone Concerto in 2008 with the Philharmonia Brittanica.
Other performances included a BBC Radio 3 live broadcast at LSO St Luke's, a performance for HM The Queen at The Barbican and ensemble performances at The Royal Albert Hall and The Roundhouse.
Hannah is a member of the award-winning Lunar Saxophone Quartet. The group have a strong new music policy and through this they aim to make contemporary British music more accessible to audiences. They recently released their first album ‘Catching Sunlight', a collaboration with pioneering jazz pianist Dave Stapleton. The LSQ received an MBF Ensembles Award for the project.
The quartet's own album 'FLUX' featuring new music by Keith Tippett, Graham Fitkin, Michael Nyman and Gabriel Jackson is to be released in 2009.
The LSQ are members of the late Yehudi Menuhin's education scheme Live Music Now! and recently performed at Bryn Terfel's Faenol Festival.
